Therapeutic Modalities
Our clinicians use various modalities and approaches in the therapeutic setting.
Traditional "talk therapy" according to most research is not productive in helping clients change their lives.
Psychoeduation
We provide a space to explore symptoms, create insight and self compassion for what you are experiencing. We are trained in CBT, ACT, DBT, and many other modalities to support your growth and healing.
Attachment Focused
The therapeutic relationship is imporant in creating a safe space to heal. Our clinicians are focused on building healthy connection within the therapy setting.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is an 8 Phase modality to support healing holistically. This type of therapy is evidenced based and can be very effective.
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy
Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy combines the healing potential of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy with the evidence-based effectiveness of EMDR therapy to help individuals process trauma, depression, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Ketamine may help create a state of increased openness and flexibility, while EMDR supports the brain's natural ability to reprocess distressing memories and experiences. Together, these approaches can help clients access deeper therapeutic work, gain new insights, reduce emotional distress, and create lasting change. This integrated treatment is designed to support healing, resilience, and improved well-being in a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment.
EMDR Therapy Videos
The videos on this page are a good starting point to understand EMDR Therapy. This is not a "magic wand" or quick fix. The 8 Phase application from a competent clinician is the best option, especially for clients presenting with complex symptoms and repeated traumatic experiences. Many clients think that EMDR is an "intervention" and not a complete modality. Our clinicans are trained to provide competent phase approached EMDR Therapy to our clients. This involves taking a thorough history of the individual's experiences, developing effective skills to manage symptoms, assessing the underlying beiefs that are keeping clients stuck in old thinking patterns, and implementing a treatment plan to target specific thoughts, feelings and memories with this effective modality.
